The path to the left of the 'hat' shop (area south of the farm)... nothing links that path up and I'm pretty much endgame

Still just year 2, but I've earned millions, have the unlocks all done, and still this area has a clearly visible stone bridge that isnt connected...

It's the area used in the Spring Dance, it's the only time it's ever opened or used.

You go across it for the dance festival and nothing else, as far as I'm aware.

If so, that is the "bridge" for the spring dance festival. And by 'bridge' I mean they throw a couple planks of wood that the villagers have to meander over without falling 15 plus feet to the beach below.

Ummm not trying to be snarky here, so please bear with me. Do you mean the broken tiled bridge to the left of cindersap forest -- ummm --- that you have to cross for the Flower Festival?

Yep, just the path that temporarily opens during the flower dance festival. It's actually a completely different map copied with similarities and the removed bridge is just there on the forest map to look legit as though it actually leads to where the dance and get together is held annually.
