How do I know what month it is?

When I look at the calendar in town, I can only see what season it is. For months like February that have 28 days (provided it's not a leap year), you can easily tell, but it's impossible with other months since each season can have months with the same number of days.

There are 4 seasons/months per year. They are one and the same thing in this game.
