Didn't Get Pumpkin Soup Recipe

Robin is at 6 hearts, and I realized through the wiki that she never mailed be the recipe by the looks of it. Am I screwed in terms of all recipes? Or can i lower her down with hated gifts to 3? :/

You can quite easily save edit in Recipe's if you missed one and you're sure it's a bug. I had to do this with Linus's 4 heart "Wild Bait", and Evelyn's 4 heart "Cookies".

Well she is at 6 hearts with me, so I'm not sure what else it'd be. May of been a birthday gift that took her up past the 3 heart stage without letting the letter happen. I'd prefer to not have to tamper with things. Would lowering her down to 3 hearts let the event play out?

When I was desperate with Linus, I dropped his hearts to 3 and raised them again, but it did nothing. I hopped on 2 different alt characters and almost immediately triggered his events when the hearts were right.

Well shucks, I really didn't want to tamper with anything. Is there a guide up in the guides or is it easy to google up how to fix it? Maybe I'll make a new character, but I almost finished my first year. y.y

If you are worried about it breaking your save, make a copy of your characters save folder somewhere else. The process is just copying a short line of code into two files.

Alright, good to know. Since it's a 3 Heart one, I was starting to worry once I saw I had her at 6 and it's a 3rd heart recipe. Does that work for all heart events? I didn't manage to catch Penny's 2nd one and am stalling out on Alex since I read his 8th one is only at Summer.

Pumpkin Soup recipe is not 3 hearts with Robin it is 7 hearts minimum with Robin, then sleep and it will be in the mailbox in the morning.

Actually it is always the very next time you sleep, even if you reach the required affection with dozens of villagers at the same time. The only exception to this is during some important event days and festivals, sometimes this will delay mailbox recipes from showing up by one day.

I could of sworn the wiki said 3 hearts! Wouldn't be shocked if they aren't the most accurate at the time being.

Thanks for the info and guide link. So, there is no way to "miss" recipes right? I'll sitll need to worry about Heart events like Alex's Summer only one. But, I shouldn't miss out on any recipes at least?

according the wiki they "start giving" recipes at some number of hearts, so it's not like instant, I believe there's some days that you get all the recipes at the same time at your mailbox, atleast that's what happens to me, one time I got like 4 recipes the same day, don't know what triggers this tho.

I had the same thing happen, leveling all the relationships at the same time I got all the cooking recipes in the mail the next day. But the events seem to be 1 per place per day, if you reach two villagers event hearts in the same day I think you can only trigger one of them that day.

Yeah the wiki is still in its amateur stages. I got my information from the game files directly with tests to be sure. I don't believe you can permanently miss recipes but Sir Ruffington claims to have encountered a bug where the cookie recipe event with Evelyn wouldn't trigger and had to modify his save game to correct it. I have been unable to reproduce this though.
