Question about cooking!
So recently, I upgraded my house and unlocked the kitchen so now I can cook food yay. But I have some questions. With all the crops that I plant and harvest, how many should I sell, and how many should I add into a recipe for food? Also, with the food that I cook, how much of it should I eat, and how much of it should I sell??? Thanks for any feedback!

I generally only save from the regular quality crops. What to save and how much really depends on what foods you want to cook and how many you need on an average day. I like to make eggplant parm cause it's good for dungeoning, so I save a lot of tomatoes and eggplants.

It depends on how big your farm is, and if you have a recipe that uses your crops as an ingredient. As crop quality has no effect on the food I would advise keeping non-star crops and selling the others for the money.

So keep star quality crops to sell, use regular quality crops to cook. Eat some of the stuff I cook, and sell some of it?

There is no profit gain from selling food over selling the ingredients, so I'd say it's best to only cook for yourself and for gifting (many of the villagers like certain foods as gifts). As for the quantity, that depends. It's nice to keep a few of each type of crop stored for quests and the bundles anyway, but how much to keep depends on the kind. The wiki page on cooking has more details on which food requires what crops, so that you can plan on when and what to store.

More or less, yeah.

I've never sold food that I've cooked. You can if you like, but I don't know if it's worth it. I'd think you'd be better off using cooked meals as gifts or for farming/fishing/dungeoning/mining/et cetera.

Ok, thanks everyone

So cook for myself/gifting/mining/bundles etc! Gotcha!

I believe Food Sell Price = Individual Ingredients Value added together.

Some cooks raise the price, while some are downright reduce it. Strange bun and ice cream are good examples that you got less than sold the material instead. While bread raise it a bit. Either way, doesn't seems like a viable choice for price raising methods
