Stardew Valley's "obscure secret(s)"
This thread is intended to be a successor to this thread. Obviously, this one's probably gonna have a lot of spoilers.

READ THROUGH THE GOOGLE DOCUMENT BEFORE POSTING!

In an interview soon after Stardew Valley's release in February 2016, ConcernedApe (the developer of Stardew) stated that there was a weird and obscure secret that nobody had yet found.

Here is the part of the interview where the secret was discussed:

PCG: Finally, are there any secrets in the game that you haven't seen anyone find yet?
EB: Yes.
PCG: Yes?
EB: Yes.
PCG: And you're not going to tell me what that is, probably?
EB: No, I won’t tell you. [Laughs] I haven't told anyone.
PCG: Is it significant?
EB: It's not super significant, but it's kind of just so weird and obscure that I don't know if anyone will ever do it.

We don't know for certain what secret CA was referring to in that interview, even after nearly an entire year of searching. However, there are quite a few secrets the community has discovered, and there are sure to be more to find. The goal of this thread is to provide a place for secret hunters to coordinate their search.

February 14:
At the moment, it appears there are no more unfound secrets in Stardew Valley. DIG NameleSS1 asked ConcernedApe on Twitter, and that's basically the response he got. I'll update this with a link to that tweet when I can get it.

The Mailboxes, the small Futan Bear in the library area of the Museum, and various tables all get those interactive hands- that's a carryover effect from your farms' mailbox and various furniture items available to you.
The futan bear now says something about it being old but still cute in the new patch. I'm not convinced about the mailboxes because the town mailboxes look different from the one on the farm.
I'm bringing up the mailbox because I saw the yoba diagram on the map circled George's & Evelyn's mailbox. But yeah, it could be true that it was the carryover effect from our farm.

In the witch's hut there's that mouse hole with the red eyes in it, maybe there's a way to interact with it with an item
And maybe with the table, because when you hover it with your cursor it changes
your cursor changed to magnifying tool isn't it? not the hand tool
i don't think that will do
No it changed to the hand tool

For me, the Mouse Hole comes with magnifying cursor:
It would probably be a bad idea to stick your tender arm in there.

And Witch's Table (left table, the empty one) change to hand cursor, which is probably the leftover from Dark Talisman quest. Previously the Magic Ink placed there.

How does a flavor reminds you of a specific person? could it be that your grandpa is from outerspace just as "God" aka "Yoba", if he's really dead then where's his gravestone? Could it be that instead of dying he's really on space? Did you ate your grandfather that's why there's no gravestone?
Also the fact the only the Mayor knew your grandpa is quite suspicious, as far as I'm in the game only him is the one that seems to know your grandpa
Ok so someone might of said this but what about the dwarf script on the grave fo it might be a anagram

The dwarf script on the grave is what teaches you how to cash in your Prismatic Shard for the Galaxy Sword.

::Edit: Wait, did you mean the script on the Grandpa Shirne? I may have misinterpreted that.:

I tried slingshot ting rocks at the lonely stone. There's an invisible that the rocks hit and break on before getting to the stone, or at least there was when I tried.

All of those have been pretty well investigated and we found nothing. It's not impossible that there is something though, feel free to do your own research.

It's not quite a 'secret' but I just found out you can stack chairs and end tables (as well as any other one-tile furniture) on top of tables and end tables, and attempting to place a chest on top of an end table result in both objects occupying the same tile, while retaining their uses. The chest is still interactable, and you can still display things on the end table- could be useful for sorting your items. I'll go grab a screenshot real quick as I seem to have forgotten to snap one.

::Edit:: all issues solved, video available- to view explanatory text, please turn annotations 'on'.
