Your favourite food.
What is your favourite food ingame? I used to love Pizza for it's regen, as well as it being a purchasable meal. But the other season I switched to Lobster Bisque, and OMG is it amazing. It regens 225 Energy, 90 Health and increases your maximum Energy by 50, and as a little bonus it gives a +3 to fishing. It's so simple to cook as well, I would say it's quite possibly the best food in the game.

What do you eat, do you have a different food for different activities, and why?

My favourites are:

- Pumpkin Soup (milk + pumpkin). +2 luck/+2 def/high boosts
- Glazed Yams (Sugar + Yam). 220energy/90 hp? Or something like that, easy to make.
- Salad. Good to hold me over till I get glazed yams :P

Also tried Pepper Poppers which seem great if you need to do farming (cheese + pepper). I think it was +Speed/+Farming

Chowder. I thinks it's a clam and some milk and it restores 220-something Energy.
Then there's a meal, forgot the name, with an omlette (Egg and milk) and a parsnip. +250 energy.

Spicy Eel when skull cavern spelunking. Dish O' The Sea when legendary fishing. Salad when re-energizing.

For normal meals, salads, simple, purchasable, and cheap. Pumpkin soup for exploring, didn't really have any will to cook spicy eels. Too lazy to go fishing lel

In the skull caverns I find eating 1-2 Spicy Eels per day while there yields 5-7 more from serpents, so I figure it's a good way to sustain luck and speed at the same time at no cost to me since I'd already be there for iridium anyway.

Spicy Eel are my current go to food. They restore lots of health and energy and give you a speedboost.

Pepper Poppers. +1 speed and +1 farming for 7 minutes, 2 of them will last the whole day. I grow hundreds of peppers and keep 8 cows just so I can have an unlimited supply of the stuff.

Pumpkin soup does look good as a Luck option. 200 Energy, 80 Health and +2 Luck/Defence.

A lot of people said they liked Salad, is this the cooked salad or the bought Salad? To me 113 Energy and 45 Health doesn't compare to other options.

I like Lucky Lunch (+3 Luck) and Spicy Eel (+1 Luck and +1 Speed). Lucky Lunch combined with Luck Day (+3 + +3 = +6 Luck) and going fishing in Ice Caverns/Lava Caverns is kinda fun (although not gold efficient), while Spicy Eel while diving into Skull Caverns = tons of more Spicy Eel drops from monsters with Burglar Ring and tons of Iridium Ore starting from Level 50 and Lower!

Brought salad for me. Granted, a pale comparison with other food, but it simplicity and purchasable en mass seems good enough for me.

Same here -- I love Pumpkin soup for the Skull Mine.

That's how I'm finding salad an advantage. Does not need to be cooked or crafted, for 220g, +113 energy is extremely worth it to me.
