Will my fruit tree still grow if i plant it at the far corner??

so it said you need 8 blocks to be free to grow a fruit tree but i accidentally plant it at the far corner of my farm, so only 5 blocks is free because the other 3 is blocked by the environment and can't be accessed

so i was wondering if it will still grow?? :(
is there anyway to get my seed back?? i tried to cut the full grown apple tree that i have but i don't get any seed from it, only logs and saps... i guess the only way to get fruit tree seeds is by buying it from the stores?

i hope my tree will still grow though... i just bought it lol

No it won't. You need 8 tile adjacent to it to be clear of anything.

I'd say yes because i've plant 5 in a row near the cave to the left and plant right in front of of the rock wall, however still harvesting fruit like normal
