Don't have the option to buy anything from Gus in the Saloon

Hey there, I read that you can buy food from Gus in the Saloon, but I can't seem to figure out how. I can't talk to ghim from across the bar and if I go behind it, it's just the normal conversation. Is there something else I have to do, or get it from somewhere else?

This got me the first few times I went to buy from him too, but is the correct answer.

Most of the time during the day, he's standing in front of the register anyway... but when he's standing off somewhere else behind the counter, it's not quite as obvious.

I remember playing during my first few minutes where I couldn't get anything to click on anything! So frustrating... I didn't realize that the game made such prodigious use of the right-click. (I kept left-clicking on everything... couldn't open a door to save my life).

I tried right-clicking on the cash register. I have the hand cursor, I line up as accurately as I can, but nothing. Help!

Gus has to be somewhere near the register. If he's completely absent you can't buy from him, but he doesn't have to be standing right in front of it. It took me a while to figure it out, so don't feel bad. ;)
