"Got any tappers? Crafty foragers known how to build 'em. You can attach them to the wild trees that grow all over. Maple trees yield maple syrup, oak trees provide resin, and pine trees produce pine tar. Syrup's the most valuable but all tree products have their uses!"
"Here's an idea... start a wild tree orchard! Put tappers on those trees and harvest the valuable syrup. Or don't! See if I care."
well you can tap those giant mushroom tree things.
I think red mushrooms.
I know i saw a pic of a taped giant mushroom on one of these treads somewere.
Tappers on the giant mushroom tree do indeed give small red mushrooms.
well it just so happens it's fall in my game so if i get lucky and a giant mushroom grows i'll try
and tap it and see what happens.
ah well never mind then.
So is it only red mushrooms or do others pop out?
I don't know. The one I put a tapper on popped up late fall. Less than a week later it was winter and the tree became a stump. I only got a few red mushrooms out of it. I assumed the stump meant that the tree was dead and so I chopped it down and got a purple mushroom. A day or so later (in real life) I read on here that mushroom stumps come back in the spring. Live and learn.
It will also come back in the spring.
