Gold star items in seed maker?
If I put gold star items in my seed maker, does it give a better chance of getting better seeds? Or are they all made equally and regardless of what you put in it's going to be a normal seed? I haven't started yet but I'm not going to waste my gold star stuff if it's not any different.

Doesn't affect it. Which is a shame really, quality should play a bigger part in more stuff IMO. Like quality wines and such

As far as i know, not affect seed in any way. Put a non star crops seems a better choice right now

I seem to get slightly more seeds out of gold star items compared to regulars (about 25% - 30% more), but I've only churned through a few hundred. I'd need to grind through a lot more to start seeing a clear pattern, as it could just be a random fluctuation.

I'm fine with quality crops giving more seeds, but quality wine? Like kegs aren't broken enough already.

Imagine gold star starfruit wine. Dayum.

It would be a good excuse to tone them down a bit. Bring it down to 2.5x the cost of the item but make it scale with the quality

by the time you get to the point w here you can reliably make starfruit wine at a resonable rate, there really isnt any purpose to having money anymore anyway.. thats kind of a design flaw to these games. you earn money to earn money, you use that money to make more money.. by the end of year 2 or so you are going to be running out of reasons to need that much money.

sure you will use some to buy more seeds after each rotation.. but thats only a drop in the bucket compaired to what you could be making
