Scream Heard At Night, On The 3rd Summer Day Of Year 2?
Title says it all. I almost peed my pants when I heard this loud sound that looked like it was a scream when the screen where the date changes faded out (Summer day 3 to day 4) All of my cows' description say that they're stressed and paranoid, and that it seemed that something bad happened last night. At that point I was really freaked out. Does anyone know what happened?

Did it rain the next morning? I think it's rained every time that I've heard it during the day transition screen, in which case it's an ambient background noise.

If so, then there are a couple of possibilities for what it might be.

If by stressed and paranoid you mean the scribbly mark you get when you forget to stock your barns with straw (feed), then that is unrelated to the "scream". On raining days, there is always a "drop in cord" sound that occurs before the day begins.

Remember that during Spring-Fall, you might not need to feed your barn animals because they can forage their own from the wild grass outside. However, during winter you must always feed them by stocking the barns with straw or getting an anto feeder (still need to stock up your silo with straw).

One of my chickens is gone, I found out! I fed my animals the previous night, and no, it's not raining.

Ohh apparently there are coyotes in this game! The screams is when they snatch one of your animals. Wow I have never encountered this event and I am 170 hours over 2 play throughs of the game... Maybe building fences surrounding your barn might help? Although I never had fences on both playthroughs... (until Y3 when I started decorating my farm).

You gotta go pray to the Altar of Yoba weekly.

Oh I see! I do have fences surrounding both the barn and the coop though :/

Did some research and it happens when you leave the barn/coop door where livestock can enter and exit open. o: Well, lesson learnt. I've always been too lazy to close them at night xc
