If you have a silo your hay is accessible from inside all the coops/barns. :)
And they can be very aesthetically pleasing.
How do you run out of space so frequently? xD I usually plan out my day and only bring specific tools to make more space and such
You really want to get a few silos and cut the grass down to fill them up. It makes life so much easier than having to fill the feeders every day.
You'll get more hay out of cutting grass than you need. I easily fill up all 5 of my silos, and by the time winter comes, I end up having a ton of uncut grass left because my silos are already full with plenty of hay to feed all my animals for the entire winter. I've never bought hay.
If you're in spring or summer (or even early fall), you can buy some grass starter and plant them far apart from each other to encourage more growth. Don't let the animals eat it though, or it won't grow fast enough.
You really want to let a bunch grow before you start cutting it down, or you won't get a whole lot out of it.
What you should do is make a fence around the doors on the coop, and put grass in there, there's no need to cut until fall 28th, they like grass even more than hay.
