Sam's Concert in Zuzu City

Okay so this morning (in-game) I got out of bed, did some stuff in my house then went outside, only to be greeted by Sam who tells me that him and his band have a show in Zuzu city tonight and to meet him at the bus stop at around 4 this afternoon.

I waited at the bus stop from 12 so I wouldn't miss it but Sam never turned up to the bus (I waited until 8 then left) so I restarted the day because I thought something went wrong, I did the same thing and instead of waiting at the bus stop I decided to follow Sam around all day to see if he goes to the bus stop or maybe the train station but nope! He just goes about his normal business for the day.

Am I doing something wrong here? Sam seems so excited and it's almost like he gets amnesia when he leaves my house in the morning

Try just walking into the bus stop area around 4:00-4:30. Events like that require you to enter the area during x:xx time to trigger.

Yeah, most events are triggered when you walk to ___ location at _:__ time. Holiday events, heart events, and such are triggered the same way.
