Family issues will do that to you.
I think just walking out makes it feel like you're missing something. Doing that lacks closure to the scene like it's missing a transition. The work he's done on this game is amazing and I hope he touches up the rough edges as time goes by. I would love to see this game eclipse Harvest Moon and become its own francise/series.
It just felt awkward because (I think it was) Robin even offers for you to join them if you have nowhere else. And on top of that I'm married to Abigail so I felt like it'd be nice to be included at her table. Just a minor gripe though.
Yea, the game doesn't seem to respond well to married couples. Alex still stands near Haley despite being my husband. I'm hoping this gets touched up in future updates to make the events more responsive to the development of the story. With any luck, the dev is skimming posts on forums like this to see what people are talking about where the game could use a little touching up and making it a more complete experience. I see a lot of the same commentary across a number of boards on a handful of rather focused topics that seem at least from an outside perspective as things that could be tackled in an organized way.
