Is it damaging to step on my plants?
i step on my plants accidentally quite a lot.
is this bad?

Nahh. This ain't real life, swinging schyte at random is fine as well. Just don't randomly swing your axe or pickaxe and you should be fine

Nope, that doesn't matter. These plants are very tough. They will live even if you don't water them at all, but they won't grow either.

just dont have your axe in your inventory next to your watering can because the axe wipes out the plant.

okay,
does anyone know if things like green beans produce more then one set of beans? because after i harvest the beans it stays there and i don't know if it will give me more.

Yes. If a plant continues to produce after its initial harvest, then it should be indicated in the tooltip. Crops that don't continue to produce disappear after you harvest them, freeing up the soil for use with a new batch of seeds.
