Store things in barn?
I read something somewhere that eluded to the idea that you can store stuff like smelters and preserve jars in the barn. Is this true? I'm not dealing with animals this run so I don't want to waste my time on a barn if I can't use it in other ways.

Thanks!

you can place stuff in barns... it can be aspace saver and keeps it all safe from lightning...

Yep I've try it with mayo maker, a cheese press and a chest. Never try with smelter, etc,but probably works the same way

Oh well yeah, Especially if you won't have any animals, I think a barn's interior would give you more space, can stock the walls full of kegs and make a "crop bed" of kegs in the center (and other things)

Got to be careful only when you're trying to place things in AI-Paths.

I dunno if animals will act like the npcs, but, I've had chests and other things, in the way of npcs before...definitely before, not now. They don't exist anymore.

If an npc's path is blocked by pretty much anything, They'll get mad and destroy it, items and all

Relevant

134 chests would be 4020 slots of storage in a 4x7
