Hazelnuts are MIA

How rare are hazelnuts to spawn in town?
I've searched all over the areas in town I can walk and haven't ran across a single nut.
And it's the only item I lack for the Fall Gather Bundle set.

I got a few in the uper half of the map

I get them constantly, the one I can't find anywhere is snow yams. Those and winter roots don't seem to spawn at all for me during either winter.

You know those little 3 worm-like patches you see on the ground that gives you Artifacts? That's where you'll also find Snow Yams and Winter Roots.

I've never found very many - like, no more than 3-5 - but they do appear sporadically in the forest itself (wizard, hat seller, above sewer area) or that northern pathway that leads from farm to the carpenter. I don't recall ever finding one in any of the "town" areas, not even by the kiddie park, but that's probably just RNG at work...

You don't need the worm patches for those. Dig anywhere diggable in winter and some will show up regardless. :)

Hazelnuts can be found all over stardew valley, the forest, the town, and most other outdoor locations. Snow yams and winter roots can be found by digging the worms that appear on the snow everywhere. If you can't find any keep looking, because sometimes the thing you want won't spawn immediately.

I finally found one, it was in the mountains near the lake.
Which is odd cause the wiki site has it only spawning in twon, so I was basing it off that info.
Now the one thing I can't seem to get to lv 2 in skills.
Fishing.

The amount spawning is based on your luck, check the tv.
Try the areas directly north, south and east of the farm.
