Which fertilizer is best for plants like blueberry and cranberry?
Is it the quality fertilizer or speed fertilizer?

I mean.

quality only affects the first berry the extra berries are all normal quality.
and speed only affects until the first harvest. the time between 1st and 2nd harvest do not change

best? probably speed, but dunno. i assume we are just selling the berries straight, not turning them into jam?
blueberries 4 harvests,
speed gro gets you 5 harvests, deluxe speed grow gets you 5 harvests with 2 days to spare. (its also cheaper if you buy if from sandy)

Cranberries? doesn't give you extra harvests.

None, fertilise/speedr is not worth the cost or the effort IMO unless you are going for a gold star crop quest, thats one thing in this game I think should be changed, none of the soil/fertiliser "upgrades" make enough noticeable difference, but by all means if you hae thousands of spare sap which eventually is likely, then may aswell use it

So the quality fertilizer is just affect the 1 of the total 5 harvest? (which is the first one) or it's affecting the first fruit popped up on each harvest? Sorry for the dumb question. (And yeah I'm selling the berries directly since I haven'g got the tools to make juice or jam)

Yeah, I have like one thousands saps in my inventory so i'm wondering is it worth it to make fertilizer for the berries.

You could math it out if you wanted, but I think this generalization fits the cost-for-effort in majority cases. In this priority,

-Greenhouse is a special case since fertilizer doesn't vanish. It may or may not matter. It may even be at a loss, but in this case I'd go with speed if needed for quest purposes or quality otherwise. You only have to fertilize once.
-Water Retaining is only worth for places you can't use sprinklers (garden pots, beach farm)
-Speed is only ever really worth it if you need it to harvest before season change.
-Quality for quests, or if you have mods that give a benefit to processing steps based on quality of input.
-none... if its not any of the above reasons, its not worth the effort. Maybe a few crops are exceptions if they are not processed before sale (quality).

Speed only effects the 1st harvest time.
Quality effects all harvests, but only the 1st item from each harvest is effected. aka if you harvest a blueberry plant 3 times and get 5 blueberries in total, 3 of them are effected by the fertilizer and 2 of them are considered extra drops (not effected by fertilizer).

Speed. The bonus harvest/s you get make all the difference.

You want a specific example - planting the strawberries on day 13 of spring year 1 (the day of the festival), you get two harvests before the end of the season, but if you plant it with the 20 quick gro ferts you get from the community centre by completing the spring crops bundle, you get 3 harvests, not 2 - an extra 2,500ish gold the day before the first day of summer.

extra crops do not get quality bonuses. so like if you harvest potatoes the extra potatoes that occasionally drop will always be normal quality, same with the extra blueberries and cranberries they'll always be normal, theres no roll for quality so the fertilizer only affects the first blueberry.
