What happened to MARGO ?

Anyone know what happened to the MARGO mod ? (modular gameplay overhaul). I downloaded it some days ago. Wanted to download it for my GF and now it's gone from Nexus mod :/

I think it took some sprites from other mods or something a while back and it was temporarily taken down for copy right issues. I'd assume it's a similar problem and it'll be back soon after the issues have been resolved.

Until then, you can always copy your copy of the mod and give it to your gf.

My guess is that someone happened between Nexus and the author. The author still updating the mod in github and gitlab. I'll put the link here if you need it

Edit: I just found out that, the author has been really unsatisfied with how nexus handle things ex. notifications, copyrights, comments/bug trackings. That's why he took the whole mod down from nexus. He will still constantly update it on his gitlab/github and there is a complete documentation for the mod in gitlab that you can refer to (installations and details for the mod)

It looks like the github has been taken down now as well. Anyone know if there's a version coming that will support 1.6? Or do we have to write off this amazing mod?

but mods can't be copyrighted? they already use copyrighted assets and full under the category of "fan works" >.>

it's like saying someone copied your painting of mario... you don't own mario.

The Developer said that it'd need to be recoded from scratch, and that the changes made in 1.6 balance wise would require rethinking and reworking of many of the mods changes.

So if he's going to remake it, it'll likely look much different and also probably be over a year down the line.
