Creepy sound during the rain??

I was out during the rain and all of a sudden there was this moaning sound in the distance
i was freaked out and ran back indoors
what was that?
i heard rumours it might be some 'Wizard" but iv'e never heard a wizard that sounds like that

When I first heard it in game I thought something horrible was approaching my farm. Getting ready to destroy my crops, eat all my animals and swallow the farmer whole

Then it turns out that yeah, it's a frog. Never heard 'em making those sounds in real life.

I heard the frogs in the game they don't sound like that
what i heard was more like those (fake) sky trumpet noises that was circling YouTube back in 2013 - 2016 which sounded like eerie but definitely not whale sounds

I have always wondered myself what that is. I guess it could be an animal, or something horrendous... Maybe an evil queen mummy from the skull cavern crying out for better wrapping?

Come to think of it, it might be a character named Krobus. That sound is similar to the sound you hear the first time you encounter him. I don't want to spoil too much here, but I have lived with Krobus a couple of times in game and if I remember correctly he actually goes outside on rainy days only. So I guess it could be Krobus... Washing himself in the rain :>

Wait, no. I forgot about the fact that this sound still occurs even when you are living with Krobus so it can't be him... The evil mummy queen theory sounds more likely!

That's a toughie. I never met her but if I were to guess maybe; Neferneferuaten?

Yes. Queen Neferneferuaten is approaching the valley! That howl is the warning to stay inside, since she can't come inside unless she is invited in. Which she will never be! Maybe by Lewis if he is desperate enough but then he will have himself to blame for getting literally wrapped up in a hot mess :>

If he thinks Queen Neferneferuaten will provide him with more royalty he is definitely in for a surprise cause she aint got a DIME in her wraps! Lewis might actually have to give Queen Neferneferuaten his statues in order to avoid a fate worse than death. Why? Cause she needs funds to rebuild her once thriving army.

And it wouldn't surprise me if Marnie bumps in right in the middle of the negotiation between Lewis and Queen Neferneferuaten, accusing Lewis of being unfaithful. With a mummy... This will definitely anger Queen Neferneferuaten and Marnie will end up wasted
