Mod to change the time

Well I've got the game long time ago but even back than I really was frustrated by how fast the time is going like 10 minutes in game is only 7 seconds in real life and a day is like 15 minutes only.
Im somebody who just HATES to hurry and geting rushed by a game. I take my time and do it slow. I travel around and explore and I want to be in charge what I want to do and not let the time hunt me down to restrict my daily tasks or activites - especially not if it is in such an extreme manner.
So when I returned to see if the game made any progress since the many years I've not played it, I just got ran over by it once again.

I decided to change that or leave it.

So I tried mods but the only mod I've found doesn't really work or rather... it gets reset the hole time and is kinda laborious to set.

Talking about the mod named TIMESPEED

With "," and "." for +10s (and control+ "."/ "," for +100s) I can switch the 10min = 7 sec to any time I want. But every time I change the location and also enter or leave a building it gets reset back to normal. Only other option is pressing N to just completly stop time.

But that is not what Im looking for. I would wish for a mod that allows to change this speed of time in the game in general. Like having it in the settings to set it to any time you want. Actually Im kinda disappointed it isn't a fixed vanilla option.
For example I thought like 10 game minutes in like 30 seconds or maybe more up to a minute.

Do you people maybe know if it would be possible to somehow get it done. Maybe even without a mod but just by changing it in a game config.
Because this is just really something I just have to change to even have a chance to enjoy this game.

... But- but its not like you have to stop playing the game or lose anything when you go to bed? It just restores your energy, progresses crop growth, and potentially adds new quests and things. Stardew Valley is literally known for being a chill, take-it-at-your-own-pace style of game! I apologise for not replying with a mod that can fix your issue, but the only thing I could imagine you being fearful of is the "ending" evaluation after 2 years, but even then, if you didn't get the perfect evaluation you can just re-evaluate with a diamond. Are you sure a change of mind-set couldn't also fix the problem?

well, timespeed is exactely the mod you're looking there for. Did you make sure to actually go into the mod menu to change the settings instead of just using the hotkeys?

Also there's also CJB Cheats Menu. It doesn't allow you to change the speed of a day the last time i checked, but it allows you to set the time to a specific point of the day if you want to.

But as Mysterious said already, the game is definitely doesn't rushing anything. It's you yourself who puts all that load onto yourself. If you feel like you're watering crops half the day, then maybe reduce the amount of crops. If you're spending half the day on animals, then maybe just sell some. You're the boss of your own farm, not the game.

Hmmm I have not found any mod menu and I actually didn't find something about that in the mods instructions either.
How you get access to it maybe I just missed it completly.

I came to the conclusion that I actually not need to justify myself at all and actually I did allready (bad enough since it was obviously wasted) and so I deleted the rest of my text here again.
It is enough that I feel that way and if it is justified or not, does not play a role - for me it is as I sayed and I tried to explain myself allready.
I don't care what you think about it. So keep your different opinions to yourself please and just accept mine or stay away because I don't need that!

I asked if there is a way to change or help with that beside the ways I tried and that it about it. I don't get why you think you can tell me I would be wrong or it would be different (only because you not feel that way) and starting having an useless debate about my point or whatever.

I say I have to less time for the way I like to play the game and I don't care if you agree.
Im only looking for ways that I can fix this problem for myself. You can keep your 15 min per day or skip the hole game or whatever I don't give a damn!
I didn't demand to change that in general I just want for me personaly the option to have time doing stuff on a daily base without worring about time. If you cannot relate to that or don't understand my point, that is not my problem and I rather not want it to become.

You are going to find those with opposing views to your own, and while you should not change your own views just for the oppositions stand point, you also shouldn't tell others to keep their opinions to themselves when this is a place for all to give their opinions, as long as it is done respectfully.

I've tried my best to be not disrespectful here. I've just replied to actual disrespectful content if you want to play this card, since my statement is geting criticized here and accused of being false and instead of topic related answers I've mainly got a discussion about it - what I have not asked for and what could called being spam. Respect is in fact a matter of reciprocity anyways.
But In the end it is just not helping at all.
Thanks for revoking locking down my post, but I didn't had the feeling like it was justified in the first place.
From my side this matter has been resolved.

To give a final answer to my own post and especially the acctual topic here, since I have found a solution myself - in case that somebody else is looking for it as well :

Another mod named "Time multiplier"

It is working alot better and without a reset - not even after restarting the game.

You need to have SMAPI 'installed' and the mod itself needs to be put in the mod folder in the game directory. When everything was made right SMAPI should start after the game was started and run in the background.
The mods in the mod folder should now be listed in this command prompt.
To enable the function of the mod you need to copy paste the following two commands:


time_multiplier_toggle - enables/disables the time multiplier

time_multiplier_change to increase the time you lower the number from 1 (1 equals 7s per 10min gametime).
For example to double the time you have, type " time_multiplier_change 0.5 " you now have 14seconds per 10 min gametime ~ just about half an hour per day.
