Haley... The misunderstood waifu

So I know the popular thing is to hate on her because according to some people she seems snobby or mean or stuck up or lazy but if you've ever gotten max hearts with Haley you will see that she is one of the nicest, thoughtful hard working people in the town. The flower dance she works her best for it, she ignores you when shes working on her photography because she is focused and passionate, she hates prismatic shards because she doesn't want some random pretty expensive thing. She loves sunflowers, coconuts and pink cake. Her and her sister argue about chores but anyone that has a sibling has been there and once explained that its best to work together she does it. The stuff with the cows and farming where at first she doesn't really understand the appeal it only takes a little exposure for her to really enjoy it all. annddd the grand finale if you marry her she is one of the hardest working spouses, breakfast almost every morning and she will water the crops more often than most others. I'm not saying that anyone else is horrible but to all those out there who never gave Haley a chance because of first impressions realize that you are being the person you think she is :) give her a chance and you may just find a new and wonderful friend/wife!

Her backstory really makes some of her favorites and dislikes make so much sense, like the prismatic shard where you might think. "Oh the pretty blonde girl will like the most expensive jewelry" but actually her favorite piece is from her grandmother and most of the things she loves are nature based and related to sunshine and warmth not cold gems. (Kind of reminded me of the lady from titanic where the rich guy gave her the heart of the ocean but shes like naw fam I wanna dance below decks and spit off the side of the boat!)

You don't have to shower them with gifts you literally just have to talk to them more than 2 or 3 times... everyone in stardew is kind of a ♥♥♥♥ before you have a heart or 2

Ha ha, the "smell" part was just related to the game, because I remember Haley always told my character how bad he smells (which is pretty normal when you work with cattle all day, I think).
Your attitude inspires me, though. I'm actually someone who seems rather distant and quiet at first (but I always try to be nice to everyone), I just recently found colleagues who accept me after years of being treated badly in my former company. So, just stay the way you are.

She was, but ever since her habit of eating amethyst granola was discovered we have seen a big decline in popularity. Her teeth are in shambles and her breath apparently stinks. :brownchicken:

my friend is trying to nice guy abigail on our multiplayer game.
now hes addicted to feeding her addiction. my amethyst stocks are always empty.
I think he owes me money but never comes home untill 1:40 sweaty, angry, and covered in dirt.
hes a hallow shell of the farmer he once was. but hes so close to that fifth heart i don't think he can stop till he hits rock bottom.

luckily i started off with maru for my first run. grew some gold star strawberries in my little sprinkler garden 8 hearts happened fast.

poor guy doesn't seem to realize how much time abby spends with maru's brother lol
