Haley... The misunderstood waifu

So I know the popular thing is to hate on her because according to some people she seems snobby or mean or stuck up or lazy but if you've ever gotten max hearts with Haley you will see that she is one of the nicest, thoughtful hard working people in the town. The flower dance she works her best for it, she ignores you when shes working on her photography because she is focused and passionate, she hates prismatic shards because she doesn't want some random pretty expensive thing. She loves sunflowers, coconuts and pink cake. Her and her sister argue about chores but anyone that has a sibling has been there and once explained that its best to work together she does it. The stuff with the cows and farming where at first she doesn't really understand the appeal it only takes a little exposure for her to really enjoy it all. annddd the grand finale if you marry her she is one of the hardest working spouses, breakfast almost every morning and she will water the crops more often than most others. I'm not saying that anyone else is horrible but to all those out there who never gave Haley a chance because of first impressions realize that you are being the person you think she is :) give her a chance and you may just find a new and wonderful friend/wife!

Penny is my wife and she is ultra-feminine and kinda traditional. But she has issues coming from poverty and no father. She is also kinda freaky...she likes me to wear a police hat in bed.

Luckily for me the first time I played this game like hardcore a lot I wanted to max everyones hearts it gave me so much more insight into the characters and while I still prefer some over others I realize that everyone is different and everyone is worthwhile <3 (Shane you're a hard friend to have but we all have our demons!)

is Pam is the biggest trainwreck? Penny's mom i mean if i forgot her name. Huge alcoholic, lives in a filthy trailer, goes to walmart everyday

I think so, her and shane really have a substance abuse problems. Like sebastions smokes out every night but he's holding down a job and not hurting anyone. Pam is really rough on penny before you get her job back and get them out of the trailer and Shane is threatening supuku with a little kid in the house

I love Haley as a romance option because she really is one of the more dynamic characters in Stardew that are marriage candidates. When I marry a bachelorette its between her and maru and then if its a bachelor either harvey or elliot!

Haley literally states she has like 100 pairs of shoes in one of her chat lines, where was her mind before meeting the farmer? IMO she isn't misunderstood. I think the green jacket wearing guy who plays american football and tries to build six packs is misunderstood more. I can't remember his name xd.

That'd be Alex, I will admit I didn't think much of him at first either but he's got a pretty tragic backstory and is a decent guy once you get to talking to him a bit

But tbf there is little to nothing to do in stardew valley before you arrive so shopping out of boredum kind of makes sense, there's 2 drug addicts and at least 2 alcoholics in town. The forest is closed off, half the beach is not available, the mines and quarry and community center are shut off, the hot springs and rail lines are closed off, the bus lines are closed this place is kind of purgatory for the villages before we show up and start changing things :D

There are several females in the game to discuss them:

Leah is the outdoorsmen, she feels like she wouldn't be out of place on the farm, hell she lives next door.

Penny, lives in a Van down by the river. does school work for the children and would possibly make a good mother?

Maru disappointingly does not create farm machines for you. but she feels like she should add some more value.

Haley is more of the marketing side, game is simple you produce crops you place in bin someone else handles sales.

I've had various harvest moon games where you can set up a farmstand and sell random things in your inventory for more gold than you could ship them for.

and her sister Emily is just crazy, and you would marry her in the hopes that she might take your life. in one of those crazy murder suicide pacts.
