Just keep it up and don't let Ginger Island stress you out. Oh and, Leo likes mangos. Which is a great way to boost your friendship with him :>
after that it's mostly just more of the base game, a extra large greenhouse, extra weekly challenges (to get the horse flute), some more upgrades for your stuff, an easy way to get a couple otherwise hard to get resources, etc.
Right. I'm getting wallnuts slow, but steadily. lol
Thanks!!
My unlocking strategy is to unlock bigger, more expensive areas first: farm, archaeology site and beach resort, because you will get more nuts in each area. Several nuts can only be gained by farming, and that takes time, so I like to get started with it asap. Some of the items for the Island Office collection also take a while to find, so it's good to start early. After those three, it doesn't really matter in which order you unlock the rest, I think.
Once you have the farm unlocked, it's easier to tackle the volcano, first thing in the morning. I like to just get to the top first and unlock the shortcut there. I open all the treasure boxes I find, but don't go out of my way to reach them. The midway escape route is not worth unlocking yet. You'll have plenty of time exploring the volcano for the remaining nuts and useful items later.
After that, it's just digging, mining, farming and exploring the volcano, until you have enough nuts to open the walnut room, and enough items to build the island obelisk. After that, I usually just turn it into an extension of my main farm. Occasionally, I take on some Mr. Qi quests, especially Danger in the Deep and the one where you give loved gifts to people.
the dungeon stays, just like the mine and skull cavern. (and just like the mine/skull cave it has useful resources)
but you get a shortcut to the top for when you want to use the thing that's there.
duck feather way better gift than mangos since duck feathers can be gold/iridium quality.
That's a great tip, thank you. I haven't explored Leo's favourites much and I don't always keep ducks. Mangos however, I usually have a ton of for some reason lol.
Thanks a lot, guys!
