Children grown up

How far do children grown up? do they jobs at the farm like the partner, or walk around at the farm? and when the child only is a baby, is there a mod that lets growing the childens to teenager or so?^^ thanks for reading my very good englisch^^

I haven't looked at these yet, but the first three mods on Nexusmods when you search "child" (and sorted by endorsements) look promising. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/

True. But there are mods that can make them at least a little bit more unique.

there are mods that are supposed to make you children grow and go to school, but I was never able to get them to work, and they are incompatible with other mods.
When I tried to communicate with the author of the Child to NPC mod creator about fixing their mod, they simply got mad at me for having more then 2 children, and banned me from accessing or commenting on all of their mods.
I used the Multiple Spouses mod (which worked great at the time). and had 23 spouses and 18 children, but none of them ever went to the school or even left the house.
I also had the Tree house mod installed but NEVER saw even the towns children enter the tree house, so it was a wasted mod, although the towns children did attend the school.

Yeah, haha. Someone compared to this game to Groundhog's Day in a sense and I can't say I disagree.

They grow up quickly, like they're a baby for a month or so. But then they stop growing. It would be funny if the player aged and became old like the grandfather, and the kids take over running the farm. Although a farm that is finished and is highly automated.
