if you mean the frog quest, you can grow them simultaneously, but you need to hand in the quest one after another, but you can just leave the grown crops there, until you can hand in everything.

well i harvested it originally and then went up to him and had to restart. luckily im still doing the fish and crop achv rn so i dont need to be back to ginger for a min
