Is this game worth it

Money is tight nowadays and I'm wondering if this game is worth my money. It's currently on sale. I see on SteamDB that there sales that made it cheaper than it is now - but not sure if I should wait or get it now.

Not a troll - I'm aware the reviews are exceptional. I just wanted to talk and have a discussion with other players beforehand. Anyhow I've bought the game now and it's really good.

If anything, the price he charged for this game is a steal compared to many other games out there. Especially when you consider the 1.5 update included what felt like an expansion with the tropical island (you'll know what I mean when you get there, I won't spoil the rest) but was part of a free update that many other devs and/or publishers would've charged extra for.

People will probably seethe at this, but if your money's that tight then you probably shouldn't be buying games regardless of the price. Get yourself into a more comfortable situation before any unnecessary purchases.

I like the game a lot, I think the value paid at the time was worth it for the hours I've spent in it. Like others have said: in general it's still better to pick games up during sales. Makes more sense.

I paid for this game in a sale a while back, and it is literally my favourite game in my library. it's totally worth it

I love this game and have over 7300 hours invested in it. It's highly addictive (for me at least) and there's quite a bit of variety with different farms, etc. Sometimes I play it in a very laidback, relaxed way, sometimes I try different challenges, and sometimes will co-op with friends, which makes it even better!

One of the best games on Steam hands down, superb game and developer. Great modding community on Nexus as well.

If perfection existed in games or anywhere else, this would be the closest thing to it.

If you like the idea of a farming community and building and managing your own farm there is no game better, many games have tried to copy the game's success over the years, there's no other game like it.

As a first impression the game may look simple and shallow when you look at the pictures, but it is as deep as a ocean.

The game is good. It's moddable, which means if you like the genre, you'll like the game, since you have the possibility to modify almost everything.
I also like variety, and I also play DbD, CS and other games like you.
Only advice? Just like any other game, avoid downloading mods that'll drastically change the amount of time you need for the game. Nothing against changing the pace, but don't change it too much to the point of making the game not worth it's value in time.
