And for the watering can i always go with bottomless, as not needing to refill water will usually save more time than having a slightly bigger area to water. Also it is way more comfortable in the vulcano dungeon, as you can simply use more water without the need to make sure to get to level 5 for the refill.
I use seeds to keep the ground watered and hoed between seasons so the only thing I use the hoe for is artifact spots and the extra resources are nice. For the watering can, I prefer bottomless because like Maya-Neko said not having to refill is usually quicker if you have a lot of hand watering to do but generous is nice too (especially on the beach farm) so I usually just go with whichever one I get first.
So for me it's either swift or reaching. I'd like to know if anyone has run tests to see which is actually faster at doing a large number of tiles.
