How to enable achievements using SMAPI (yes, I did the %command% thing)
I added the SMAPI.exe as a game to steam, and is the "game" I'm using to start playing (not the Stardew Valley.exe). I also configured the launcher options for Stardew Valley base game with my route and the %command% thing.

How I have to launch the game to get the achievements? I like to play having access to the game using the SMAPI.exe in the steam games list, because I'm using a switch controller and it works with that .exe

Help please :')

UPDATE: Steam overlay (Shift+tab) appears when launching Stardew Valley with the command, but is NOT working launching the SMAPI exe added to Steam. What should I do? Need this way for my controller to work.

You can launch the game normally and SMAPI will still run. Once you do then everything will work out fine.

I dont think you can enable the achievements if you start the game with the smapi executable, if you add it as a non steam game to steam it is considered another game entirelly.

Im not sure what you mean with all this talk about your controller but to get achievements you just need to enable the launch options that installer gives, and just launch the game like normal from steam. Maybe you just got confused with the command thingy, but its really simple, just need to follow these steps:
