One cow keeps eating hay instead of grass
What's going on? For some reason one of my cows stays inside the barn longer than the others sometimes and decides to eat the hay instead of the grass, I leave the door open all the time except winter, everyone else comes out and eats grass

Don't give them any hay if there's grass outside. Only in winter.

Happens sometimes, if they fail to set a waypoint towards a grass tile for whatever reason. Overall i wouldn't pay that much attention to it. Even if you've to buy some hay every now and then, Animals will alway still earn you more money than the hay will cost you

Are there any objects in the barn's open space? Animal's pathfinding is really simple, and they can interact with obstacles weirdly

There is a tree next to it, but not infront, not sure why it would mess with one of them and not the rest but I'll chop it and see what happens

Yeah, I just haven't bought an auto feeder yet so its tedious to have to replace a single piece so often haha
