Stardew Valley Extended?
I wanted to know if I could play in 2 differnt farms. I wanted to have one without this mod and another with the mod. The thing is that i want to play both farms kinda in diferents days but I dont know if I can like add the mod to the mod folder and then errase it and then put it back just when I want to play on that modded farm. Can I do that? Or will I lose the progress with the new npc once I have erased the mod from the folder:steamsad:

No? Only when you load and save the old farm without using the SVE mod. As long as you keep your SVE farm mod safely parked and won't touch it then it's safe from change. Just remember to install SVE again when playing the old farm.

Existing Farm? Then u need to duplicate save files. So u just need to move out the one u don't want to play.

If this is about a new farm, then u just need to move out the SVE if u don't want to play it.

I usually create multiple folders for mods, for example if I want to take break from SVE Farm, I'll name it to "My SVE Farm Mods", then when I want to play those mod, I'll rename it back to "Mods".

U will lose feature and progress from SVE when load it without mod. Also your terrain world will mess up.

When you install smapi and mods you create a new start up file in your Stardew Valley folder.
One is called Stardew Valley, the other Stardew Modding Api. Create a shortcut to both and put it on your desktop.
Easy acces to modded and unmodded saves.

If you are only using SVE in terms of mods, then go with the method the previous poster xicewindex mentioned. SMAPI acts as a mod-injector. Meaning it helps to keep your vanilla game clean of mods. Meaning if you don't want to play a new farm with mods then just open the game NOT via the SMAPI api. Use the games standard executable to open the game.

If you use Vortex Mod-Manager, iam pretty sure it has profiles where you be able to choose what setup (mods) you want to boot the game with.

At least i do that for skyrim with MO2 but i assume Vortex will have a profile option aswell, which would be the easiest way to seperate either different mods or a modded and a vanilla game.
