Edit: To OP. I don't think that CA reads this Steam forum anymore. He has his own dedicated SDV forum.
And to this point it's like begging for new content, just because CA was very generous in his free content update patches.
The game is pretty complete, and as others said, custom mods add lots of additional, optional content.
I'm deathly afraid of an update breaking the mods and thus destroying my game for the foreseeable, if not indefinite future. Wish I had a way to just seal it all up in a time capsule as it is now.
IMHO, with what the base game already has, combined with SVE and RV, it's truly a masterpiece perfected.

If you have very old mods that aren't maintained anymore and no one has any interest to make an unoffical update then backup your SDV folder now and only start it via SMAPI or buy SDV via GOG then use it's backup feature and disable updates.
