Am I eating properly?

it seems to be so complicated, I have the food active, I mouse/hover on my person, click x to eat the food, it then asks if I want to eat and I click Yes, I think thats the procdeure, but it seems so drawn out, is that the proper way or am I doing it all wrong?
I know it seems trivial but now Im fighting more, this takes ages when Im being attacked at the same time. thanks for any help.

There is no other way that I know of. I have to ask, 2 clicks is complicated?
You are paused while you eat so not really seeing the issue.

I probably used the wrong word, I use mouse keyboard, and have clumsy old hands, but Im getting better, I activate the food, right mouse click my body, click yes to eat food.I just wondered if I was doing it right, thanks for your confirmation.

It would be nice if there were a food "quick slot" where a keyboard shortcut would let you eat that food instantly. When you're in trouble in the mines, fumbling for a food can be problematic. Then you have to quickly switch back to your weapon.

you don't need to right click exactly at your body , right clicking anywhere is okay

yes there is no faster way to eat food

I like to pause, select the food in the pause screen thing, then as soon as I press escape to close it I right click to eat the food. That helps a little bit with timing.

This. Mouse cursor location is irrelevant. Just hit the number of the food in your actionbar, then right-click (anywhere).Don't waste time trying to target yourself. That's only needed for gifting NPCs.
