Then I had 4 brown chickens, 4 ducks and 4 rabbits.
Then I sold the rabbits and got 4 white chickens.
Then I got a void egg, sold the ducks, got 4 void chickens.
Then I sold the goat and sheep.
Then I sold everything else and demolished the buildings.
None of them really struck me as worth it. Currently I have none, not even a pet (Who I wouldn't adopt in this new playthrough.)
Goats and ducks came the closest. Since goat cheese is a good free hp potion every other day for the desert. And makes a good loah gift. The ducks with only one egg type and only laying every other day meant I could ignore them a much as I felt like. Plus they were easy to breed, hatched fast, grew up fast, and sold alright.
Sheep and rabbits at first seemed the best to me in terms of "Walk in, visually see what needs collecting, and walk right out. Don't worry about eggs hiding in the mayo makers). But wool doesn't really do anything for you. And happy sheep started producing it so often it annoyed me. I felt like I was back milking cows.
The money selling max heart animals, including pigs makes me sad, when I can't decide when the mammal animals reproduce.
I kept linus's missing blackberry basket and taught my pet to use it to collect all the eggs the chicken/ducks lay in the coop. Its a big help and they do a great job since our affection is so high with each other.
Im hoping to uprade the coop then fill it. Then ile be starting on the barn. I know the animals arent as profitable as crops but im an animal person so i can't not have any.
And as to the "keep going?" part, ide say yes, who doesnt love more animals =P
And two slime girls
1 Cow
1 Goat
2 Chicken (one of each color)
3 Void Chicken (of which 2 will get sold soon)
2 Ducks
1 Rabbit
Everything that goes over this will get raised till a certain heart level is reached and then sold
Although why 3 of the cows and 2 of everything else?
24 Rabbits, 12 Ducks, 12 Dinos, 12 Void Chickens
24 Pigs and 12 Goats.
Also a slime hutch with a ♥♥♥♥ ton of slimes.
coop (deluxe): 1 duck, 1 void chicken, and 1 rabbit.
