Where does he go?

I'm married to Sam but alot of nights he disappears. He goes to bed at 10:00 PM and one day I got home at 9:30 PM and he wasn't there. I went to town and he was going is way home, but he NEVER stays out that late.
Am I that stupid and don't know where he was or what? Help ;-;

I know that he wanders to the forest sometimes, especially in fall (I just had to look for him earlier to complete a fetch quest). So, maybe he still goes there even if you're married?

Spouses do go into town, they dont spend all their time on the farm. One of the updates made it so Sam, Sebastian and Abigail they go to the Saloon on Fridays, and all spouses leave the house on mondays.
