In Game Clock is Frozen
Ever since yesterday, I've been struggling with an issue that I can't seem to fix.

My in-game clock is frozen. I'm currently on Sunday, 7th of Fall, and every time I've tried to play this day the game clock has stopped working and time will not pass. When I tried to play yesterday, it froze at 10:40 AM. Today, it's frozen at 9:20 AM.

In both cases, it seems to happen after I purchase a Chicken from Marnie. Has anyone else had this issue?

Full disclosure: I'm using the mod that extends the length of the days slightly, but it hasn't caused issues up to this point so I'm not sure why it'd be causing issues now.

Right Click, Properties, Local Files, Verify Cache should delete the mods you have. I've seen cased where updates and time has caused malfunctions. Try it and see what happens?

I don't use mods besides simple portraits and I bought a ton of chicken on my joja route.

if it is a specific event that triggers it seemingly, and you're running a mod, Then seek help from the SDV forum post where you got the mod from, as it is likely the Mod Owner's problem/fix, and Nobody here can really point to this way or that way to fix it...
edit 1 -> this is derived from the trigger affecting the things the mod(s) do, If it didn't do that, I probably would say something different

The only other thing I could say is. Don't buy chickens? (possibly any animal)
For barn, Sucks.
For Coop, apart from Bunny, You can get an egg elsewhere (randomly/rarely) and incubate it, See if that bypasses it.

A good likely possibility is that the Mod is having trouble handling all the different windows that Marnie goes through

Yeah, Robin goes through a decent bit on building placement, too. But Marnie goes through that and more.

A month late but... I had the same problem when I went to buy a chicken.
I narrowed it down to the TimeSpeed mod.
I looked up more about the mod, and found out it has this feature where the 'N' key freezes/unfreezes the clock.
I bought the chicken again to test it, and when I pressed N it unfroze. So you can do that if you want, you don't need to remove yours mods.

Is it possible, that the game just waits for an input of you? When you buy a chicken, it demands "select a coop". You've got to scroll around your farm and select the coop. During this time, the game is "frozen".
