Dinosaurs vs Ducks
Are the Dinosaurs better then the ducks or whatever they are called?

Sadly, Ducks will sell more (even more when you sell it at full hearts) than Dinosaurs if you were planning on raising some just for money alone. Can't really make any mayo out of dinosaur eggs and the eggs themselves don't sell for very much, too. Dinosaurs aren't too bad to just keep around, but currently they don't really provide much for you in terms of income.

No way. Dinosaur eggs are produced like every 3 or 4 days. Sometimes it needs more time. Ducks produce almost every day plus selling eggs was never a good idea, so turn it into mayo == profit.

My dino egg happily popped into the mayonaise machine and came out as a gold star mayo.

I went on wiki it says it produces one egg a day and that they can sell for 350-525.

is this right?

Nope. They do sell for 350 but my happy dinos were laying 1 egg every few days, 3-5 maybe even less. I can't test since I've abandoned that save and don't have any right now but it certainly isn't every day.

I'd say ducks are better due to being consistent, a happy duck will lay an egg every other day.
Hatch a dino or two for the novelty if you aren't into min-maxing your game but otherwise they really aren't worth the space they take up.
