I guess in the end it depends on how much field space you have dedicated to crops. But if you intend to have huge plots, do you really wanna have to fish up literally hundreds of fish? It takes forever and becomes super tedious even with a moderate field.
You definitely want Fisher over Trapper (crab pots are mainly useful for extra quartz from broken glasses in the long run, so you don't want to stop catching trash).
But at level 10 you want Pirate over Angler. By that point, making money will be effortless, but finding those last few artifacts is a slow process.
