When you complete the bulletin board bundles

You get a friendship boost of 2 hearts for every non-marriage villager. Does that become a base or if I don't gift them/talk to them all the time, will that 2 hearts go down to 0 again possibly? Thanks

Completing the bundles gives you a bunch of friendship points. The 2 point decay will still happen and you can get back down to 0 hearts.

Decay is only -2 points per day and +20 points if you simply talk to a NPC.

So talking to a NPC once every 10 days completely stops decay.
