No hope for Jodi's bugged fish casserole quest?

Just wondering, is there a workaround for this quest I have yet to stumble upon? Will there ever be a fix for it? It's stuck in my journal for several weeks now. I just can't ignore it, it taunts me, constantly reminding me that I have an uncompleted task.

I really regret not reseting the day when the quest became bugged after accidentally triggering Sam's cutscene instead of the Jodi's.

In a nutshell, Jodi asked to bring a Largemouth Bass to her house at 7pm. If you bring one to her house at the specified time but triggered one of Sam's heart cutscene instead, Jodi's quest cannot be completed any more.

For what it's worth, Jodi's invitation to dinner is kind of disappointing in terms of character development and the game's storyline. It literally fades to black the moment you walk through the door, and ends there.

Nothing changes with you, her, or the family in general, after it. I was hoping there'd be more character interaction that developed as a result of completing the event, but nope.
