Anyone pick up the "Slammer"?

Been doing Skull Cavern every time my luck is high for the day (fortune teller says "very happy!"), and the furthest I've gone in the Skull Cavern is level 76. About five different times below level 40, I still haven't seen it drop (assuming the wiki is corrct and that it drops below level 40).

Anyone have any luck with this weapon? If so, what did it drop from?

Yeah, mace (or club, or hammer, whatever it is). Been searching for it just to add as part of my weapon collection.

Still no luck with this. Went hunting on positive luck days for a month and still no luck (even beat my record, lowest I've gotten to was 93 in the Skull Cavern).

Well, my luck must be pretty terrible, as I still haven't seen anything even on positive days. :/

Though, I do have a method I want to test. Building 100 ladders (will take 10,000 stone) as well as carrying about 50-100 mega bombs, and the minute I enter the cavern, just descend using ladders as fast as possible to floor 100 or so. Then, using mega bombs to open up areas further and grind away at the same time. It's possible that the deeper you go, the better your chances are, and I figure that if I can get to around level 100-150 or so, I should do pretty well. Only problem is, I don't know what the weapon drops from, so I don't know what I'd focus on killing.

Do note that Mr luck doesn't know what item you are after so it doesn't matter all that much.

Very true. Although one thing I've completely forgotten about is the Burglar Ring. I think I'll go for that first to aid in the search for it.

Got it! Alright, so for anyone also going for the Slammer, here's my little journey.

Loaded up on about 10,000 stone (bought it from Robin) and built 10 ladders. Brought 66 Mega Bombs with me (buy from Dwarf or make them) in the case that I could descend quicker when I ran out. I decided I would stop descending at level 100 or so and just go from there, which I did. At level 100, I used a few Mega Bombs here and there. My goal wasn't Iridium, since I have about 500 Iridium Ore just laying around in storage. I wasn't sure what to focus on, so I attacked everything in sight, and whatever chests that could be destroyed. At around level 160 (from just descending normally and using Mega Bombs), The Slammer dropped from one of those breakable chests, so I can confirm it does drop from that.

Here's a screenshot of my results. You'll notice I still have a ton of stone lying around and a bunch of Mega Bombs, so I was a little overprepared. The other weapon in my inventory is the Tempered Broadsword (not sure why this is hard to find) and the Burglar's Ring (increases drop chance). Went on a day where the fortune teller gave me a "very happy" score and used a Lucky Lunch.

I got it from the normal mines in from floor 80-100. I don't remember which as I had looked in my inventory just to see it there- It really confused me LMAO
Personally, I don't like slow weapons but as it's the strongest weapon I've got, I have been using it. I got it early Fall of my first year.

pretty sure I've gotten it, but I've not created a collection and yeah its not really a weapon I'd use, considering you can get better hammers from ginger island.
