You really don't.
Besides, more days would just mean the crops would grow in 'real time'. That does not make fun gameplay
Yeah. That's one of the Harvest Moon things he took out. And by doing so, it rendered the spa useless for me. I much ratter eat something to get the job done then go all the way up there, do all that walk to recover energy.
Um, why?
I mean outside of changing the events/birthdays to different days.
But why not have each season be approximately 84 days for a total of 336 days, that way specific dates could fall on the same day.
While still keeping the same "amount" of time for crops, unless you REALLY think that it would be extended just because of the amount of days.
None of that matters anyway thanks to the time mod that exists.
It would be SO boring with more days per season. I am all for more hours in a day maybe, but more days in a season would be so over the top repetitive, espically late game.
I am glad there is a mod though! That way everyone can have what they like best.
I think it would break the game if you had Melons popping up every 14 days on a 88 days season. It would take a lot out of the game.
Plus, if we go the 'crops takes longer' route, we would have an entire month of watering the same crops without no results.
yeah, foraging, fishing and ranching would gain more importance that way, but the game play would be sooo long. I imagine it would take 20+ hours just to get to winter.
