Then try sticking all the bone artifacts on another table. Stick semi-trashlike artifacts (like Rusty Spur, Spoon, etc.) in another area. I think I stuck the elven ring over with the dwarf artifacts, because there was one spot left on the long table. I haven't completed the artifact achievement yet, but that's my advice.

As for what I did, I have the 'natural' stuff on the bottom section (the largest one), with it roughly divided into one half for crystalline type things and the other for rock type things. Another section is for bones and fossils (including the slime), another is for archaeology artifacts (spoon, arrowhead, etc), another is for dwarf stuff (and those creepy dolls I think, but I can't remember for sure).
