Besides, ridiculing someone for trying to date a second-grader is more interesting than answering the umpteenth question about 1) something that could be solved in 20 seconds with the Wiki, or 2) whether or not a complete stranger will enjoy the game, or 3) when the game is going on sale, or 4) Asking about what crop to grow, because God forbid we have fewer than two of those threads on the very front page at any given time.

* The instructional book in Penny's room is, if I remember correctly, for second grade. Jas's birthday is in early Summer, which would make her seven years old ("late" birthday, using a conventional American school calendar).

Of course, the years pass in SDV... but nobody ever gets older, so it's safe to say that Jas is seven years old forever.

On the increasingly-uncommon occasions I decide to give a relevant and accurate answer, I like to make sure I'm comprehensive.
