So apparently there is no way to remove the slingshot

Googling around I've found players saying they just put it into a chest somewhere. A few people said they bomb the chest after, but I've tried 10 cherry bombs and it doesn't work. I'm guessing that part has been patched. Still, master slingshot should make the slingshot removable.

I have a chest in the bottom right corner of the map with all my crap I can't throw away.

This was what annoyed me when I obtained the Master Slingshot and found that I can't sell the ordinary slingshot. In my first playthrough I just threw that away. In my second, I placed it in a chest where all my other unsellable crap are just like what Sir Ruffington did.

Not sure why it annoys you. I dropped all of my weapons in a chest. Never bothered.

Shears and Milk Pail, so if you buy multiple by accident like me you're stuck with them. Or if Lewis gives you a tool that you 'lost'.

i know how to get rid of it pick it up in your inventory then while holding it click the community center thing to open up the bundles then press escape and its gone works with all tools but i dont think youll want to get rid of any other tools

i have a seprate chest for all tools and weapons and the slingshots i find really bad so they end up at the top of the chest forever

Wow this actually worked though it clearly isn't an intentional feature. Please let useless items be removeable! Great game otherwise

No you can't, like I said apparently early march people would put them in chests and blow them, but this doesn't work anymore.

The highlight item / community center deletion method works, for now. Though it does have the weakness ruffington points out

Try placing a chest with the items you want gone in the path of the NPCs.

It just outright deletes the chest and any items within it, the easiest place to do this would be to place a chest outside of Pam's trailer. This also works with other NPCs and their pathing, if you try to fence them in or something similar.

Ooooh is this what happens, I'd heard of someone a long time back who had placed their Vending Machine from Joja Warehouse in town and it had disappeared. Was always curious what happened to it.
