Easy way to get friendship up with wizard?

So i made my character and he looks ok from the front of back but, he looks like a hobo when walking to the side, from what I hear the wizard is the only way to change your appearance but you need level 5 friendship, how do I get that with him easily and quickly?

Stock up on Solar Essences or Void Essences, and gift him one of those twice per week and talk to him every day, even days you can't gift him. Do any quests he posts at the bulletin in front of Pierre's or quests from him in your journal.

where? I am on lvl 30 of the mines

think you can get solar essences down around 40-50, when the ghost starts appearing.

Voids, doubt think they show up till 80+

You start to really stock up on Void and Solar Essence at Level 80+ when the Void Spirits will be a common enemy.

Otherwise really best bet is to get the Ghosts to spawn at level 40+ but otherwise you can't get that stuff as relyable this early in the mines.

I've also noticed he likes purple things like the crocus and the purple mushroom. Not a 100% chance, but it can help if you can't get the essences yet.

Until you get essences there's a list of liked gifts from wiki. Something like cheese, maple syrup, cauliflower, crocus, potato and so on, are easy to get early on (depending on the season).

Amethyst, Blue Jazz, Bok Choy, Cauliflower, Cherry, Cheese, Crocus, Corn, Diamond, Duck Mayonnaise, Fiddlehead Fern, Frozen Tear, Ice Cream, Jade, Jelly(Salmonberry), Maple Syrup, Mayonnaise, Nekoite, Parsnip, Pickled(Tomato, Eggplant), Potato, Quartz, Salad, Sashimi, Sweet Pea, Tomato, Tortilla, Wine(Blackberry), Pizza.
