Hey guys how do I get a tapper?

I need Maple Syrup but I don't have the recipe for the tapper. When can I unlock it and how? Thanks guys.

Think it is Foraging, as it's more a gathering than a farming. Think it's around Foraging 3 or 4

Yep. http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Tapper says foraging level 3.

64 tree tops (leave stumps until you unlock Tappers) or 110 foraged items, mix and match.
