Requirements for having a baby

What are the actual requirements for having a baby in stardew valley? I have a wife and the third tier house, what else do i need?

If you're a straight couple, you need to give another bouquet. And don't "Cheat", or else it may result in no baby. And preferably max hearts? This is what wiki tells me.

If you're a gay couple, just got to sleep and a prompt will appear eventually, usually before your spouse does but I got the prompt at around 12 second time.

By cheat give gifts to other eligible bachelors and bachelorettes

I have a wife on it and it is at 13 hearts
but i will get another bouquet

Everyone says you need to go to sleep before your partner, but I went to bed at like 1am (well after my husband Elliot) and he still asked me if we should adopt.

Elliot asked me one night, but then nothing happened for weeks. I gave him the bouquet, he talked about adoption again, then couple days later we had a kid..

I'm not sure if it was a coincidence/bug/random glitch or do you need the bouquet in all relationships. I mean, he did ask without one, but nothing actually happened before I did give it.

I married Sebastian and just barely passed the one year mark.....I just barely got my house fully upgraded because I didn't have enough money, then didn't have enough hardwood.... I was just wondering how the kids thing will work since I haven't seen any posts from anyone else playing as a female. Will my character ever be visibly pregnant? Or will I just have a kid all of the sudden?
