Chickens In Winter
Ya so shoot i just bought 4 chickens in the winter and im pretty sure i screwed my self but i dont have any grass lol! So i was wondering anyway to get grass or food for my babys or did i just kill 4 little chik babys?? :(

Ok i bought hey but where do i put it? i tried the hopper thing in the building but it says its empty of grass! And i tried putn hey in it but nothing happens! ugh!!!!

The trough at the north end of the Barn / Coop, you stock it with 4/8/12 hay depending on the tier of the building.

You can't stock the hopper with the hay that you buy, you just have to keep it on you and feed the chickens daily with it. By the way, since you said it's winter, make sure to buy a heater for your chickens!

If you have a Silo with a tier 3 Barn / Coop it will automatically fill the trough for you.

They don't have a silo and since they only just got chickens and don't understand how feeding them works, it's a pretty safe bet they don't have a tier 3 coop.

Ok i got 8 hey and a tier 1 coop with 4 chickens and hopper wont take the hey ugh!!! And it says its empty! I am right and left clikn the dog crap out of it lol! Oh my lord!

Put hay into this trough:

You can't put hay into the hopper to the side, that's where you pull hay out if you have a silo.
