Don't forget that 'Panning' was also a reward for completing a set of bundles, and that one had you fishing all over the place. At least the Bridge Repairs was just foragables and things you can pick up off the ground.
I just find it so uninteresting, especially since it's right near the mines, which are a better source IMO. Plus the mines you can get sweet drops from mobs on occasion.
In fact I use the quarry quite often when I just want to spend a few hours get stones, together with the occasional additional nice surprise, without having to mess with monsters.
Especially since the quarry has its own station for the minecart system
my only problem is that quarry should be a pit not a flat field
yeah the stones respawn but they reappear slowly. maybe check it once a season if you dont want to look everyday
but it does have alot of ground to collect winter items by plowing the ground and thats by daily things
This!!

Back on topic, quarry is ok, just keep clearing the stone until something valuable spawn.
